How Do I Select a Moving Company?
It’s very important that you look around before you choose the moving company you will hire to transport your most important possessions to your new home. This is a critical decision that you should not take lightly. Talk to neighbors, family members, friends and co-workers who may have recently moved and get their suggestions. More than likely, if someone you trust gives you a recommendation it will be a good one. Then, look at the website of your local chapter of the Better Business Bureau to do some research on the companies you’re considering. Don’t just look at complaints lodged against the companies, but also look at how they handled those complaints. If they did a good job “making good,” then that’s a company you should seriously consider. When you’ve narrowed down your list, get estimates from all of them.
