Can I Pack and Move My Plants?
Unfortunately, most moving companies do not accept plants and we are no exception. It’s never good to try and move plants for long distances in an enclosed space because they undergo a great deal of stress. In many instances, the combination of stress and heat will cause a plant to die. Also, while some states will allow plants to be admitted under certain conditions, many other states do not allow the entry of any sort of plant. Therefore, it’s important that you make sure you know the regulations of the state to which you plan to move your plants before transporting them. This is one of the many reasons you should plan your move extremely carefully. You’ll know what you can and cannot take with you well before moving day.
